History of the Club

The club was formed in July 2004 by a group of parents, divers and our Head Coach, Melanie Sweetman, to provide a development route for young people from the age of 8 upwards with talent or potential as a diver.

Whilst some of our coaching team work within the Sports Centre programme, the Thursday night club sessions and all club activities are provided on a voluntary basis.  Places within the training squad are limited so the club is selective (rather than open access).

The club was the 7th diving club nationally to achieve Swim 21 Diving Accreditation in spring 2008.

Training Squad

We train at Trowbridge Sports Centre, BA14 0DN on Thursday nights from 18.30 for 2 hours. starting with strength and flexibility training (dryside), followed with pool time.
